Cosein T1 - Self-improving agent computer for long-horizon work

Description

Description

Cosein T1 is a self-improving agent computer for long-horizon work. It combines a compact Linux computer, hardware KVM, and the Cosein Work Harness to give AI agents a physical interface to the computers and software people already use.

We’re building T1 for work that unfolds across many steps, applications, and sessions. The Work Harness is being developed to preserve task state, coordinate execution, and turn accumulated experience into reusable expertise: context and procedures that agents can carry into future tasks.

For AI-native individuals and small teams, our vision is a persistent AI teammate whose expertise grows with the work it does. T1 brings that vision into a dedicated device, with physical approval for sensitive actions as part of its interaction design.

Technical Details

Technical Details

Embedded computing
A quad-core Linux computer with onboard RAM and support for up to 512 GB of storage, integrated into roughly a credit-card footprint.

Hardware KVM
Through its USB-C KVM interface, T1 receives a compatible host computer’s display output and sends standard keyboard and mouse input. The host recognizes the connection as an external display and USB input devices. This provides the observation and control interface for remote access and agent workflows.

Cosein Work Harness
The software layer under development for long-horizon task orchestration, persistent task state, and reusable expertise. The hardware supplies the observation and action interfaces; the harness is being built to preserve context and coordinate execution across the task.

Security and human control
The hardware includes a dedicated security chip. Physical approval for sensitive actions is part of the product’s interaction design.

Hardware–software co-design
The PCB, enclosure, and harness are iterated together, balancing integration, signal integrity, power, and thermal constraints. Functional hardware prototypes have been built through multiple PCB revisions, with second-generation prototypes nearing completion in Shenzhen.
